Hey,
I've done Grade 5 Jazz Piano and passed with a Distinction. I've been looking through a few University Prospectuses and on many of the Music courses it asks for ABRSM Grade 7 or 8. I'd like to apply to some of these courses but I don't know what Grade 5 Jazz Piano is worth. Is it the equivalent of just Grade 5 normal? Or is it worth anything higher? Any ideas would be great, Thanks. |

LCM do Jazz exams up to Grade 8. YOu would have to check the syllabus to see if they do Piano. YOu can definately do a composition element. |
