Watching the European Championships (athletics). One of the strangest men's 100m finals a little while ago - one disqualified, one pulled up injured and one just didn't want to start (and he did have three goes!). I think everyone who finished should have got a medal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

it was odd, wasn't it? He did at least try and start the second time, but it was a really sluggish attempt and I don't think he ran at all. The first and third time he didn't even get off the blocks. I've just googled and found a report that says he was injured in the semi-final so perhaps that had something to do with it.
