Highlights plural rather than highlight singular:

Seeing my elder son selected to play Chess for England

Seeing my younger son in the title role of Jesus Christ Superstar

Being the headline act at a folk club for the first time

Rediscovering the piano and subsequently passing grade 8

Discovering the flute & passing grade 7 with distinction only 21 months later (the only distinction I have ever had in a practical exam)

Being involved in the Bowel Cancer Screening Program - it saves lives and is the best thing I've been involved with professionally.

My life sucks.
It can't be all bad when you can play the recorder as brilliantly as you do, and are able to give enormous pleasure to people like me who listened with great admiration to you at Dyrham last year.

I hope you get a better break this decade, Aeolienne.

Seconded. You play like an angel. Hope things look up for you very soon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

2000 - grade 8 violin and clarinet
2007 - graduating with my PhD
2009 - grade 1 and 2 piano

.... but if I had to only pick one I'd go for the PhD.

Probably getting my job in April 2008 - got me back on track after I went off the rails.
