All,

You are reminded that organ recitals are taking place in York Minster (Quire) at 13:10 and lasting about 40 minutes on the following dates:

3rd February
Anthony Hammond, Cirencester

10th February
David Houlder, Leeds Parish Church

17th February
Matthew Redman, Bristol

24th February
David Ponsford, Cardiff

3rd March
Peter Gould, Derby Cathedral

Admission is free, after entry to the Minster. Locals can get a free card for entry, as can members of the Friends of York Minster. The organ is played from the screen, and John Scott Whiteley provides a synopsis of what is to be played in his introduction.

Please support these recitals - attendance has been undoubtedly disappointing in the first couple of weeks compared with recent years.

Regards,
AT

A fine organ player, and a nice chap - he tested me recently for an RSCM award!
