Would you like to spend time in an indigenous town in Central America? Are you a string teacher with a working level of Spanish? We are a registered charity looking for volunteers who are able to give at least six months of their time in return for an all-expenses paid stay and a small allowance (with an intital "getting-to-know you" period for all parties, of two months).
The programme can accommodate either individual volunteers or two at a time.
The orchestra needs teachers all year round, so there are no fixed dates, and we are currently looking for teachers to go out as soon as possible.

This is a great initiative!

I have been meaning to get in touch for a while because a colleague in Canada passed on info about you. I am based in Costa Rica and I have an idea that it might be cheaper and more feasible to try and build up some support from here. Do PM me if you want to get in touch and I'll send you my email.

I am a learner oboist (in Costa Rica!) so no good as a teacher but a great supporter in principle of this kind of project.

I do hope you get lots of positive responses!!!!!!
