I thought I liked Belle Amie but last night... it just didn't work. They sounded like they were just imitating Girls Aloud. Which I suppose, in a way, they are. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Wagner... he can't sing!

Rebecca Ferguson's voice makes me want to stuff cotton wool in my ears. I can't STAND it. Sorry to anyone who likes her voice.

Matt, Aidan, Paige... love all three of them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thought Katie's performance last night was wonderful, I smiled the whole way through it.

Cher is possibly growing on me, although she's not really the sort of artist I would choose to listen to, if that's a fair comment to make!

One Direction shouldn't be cute but they are. It scares me that they're younger than me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Never really been a fan of Belle Amie, and last night it didn't work, I agree.

Deep down, I think Wagner thinks he's lucky to get this far! He's enjoying himself while it lasts!

That's OK, Celeste (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Aiden isn't really my cup of tea, the other two, yes, are very good. Paije is very underrated.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) - and I've not really been a fan 'til now.

I agree with all that.

Nearly all the acts are younger than me... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Mary I think is also doing very well, and I like John's voice, too. Treyc...not my sort of thing at all, I'm afraid...

If you listen through again on a higher quality sound system you see that a lot of the voices sound in some ways different.

I watched the live show last night and will again tonight through my TV in my bedroom which hasn't got the best sound quality.

All of the performances are available on You Tube and iTunes.
When you listen there, you can notice some tweaking is being used.

My favourite acts?
I would have to say Matt & Mary.

I'm not quite sure really. I think maybe I like Rebecca best. I did like Katie a lot last night too, thought that whole performance was pretty clever. I can see why people like Cher but it's not really my thing. I agree with Celeste about Belle Amie, they just sounded like a Girls Aloud tribute act.

And I have to confess that I LOVED Cheryl Cole tonight! Sorry everyone!

Edited to say: Anyone else find it odd that after the controversy about autotune so many of them sing so out of tune every week??!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

You cynic you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

So John's gone. He had a good voice, I thought - may not be that memorable, but I thought he had more mileage in him, and I'd have preferred to see Treyc go...

I hope Belle Amie go... They're not unique at all. I'd love for Matt to win or, failing that, Aiden.

Agree with your views on both Belle Amie and Matt. Aiden doesn't do a lot for me, as I mentioned in CISD, Rebecca would be my second choice.

What is your view on Wagner, Stephie? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (and we don't mean the German composer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) )

Wagner is my friend's old karate teacher! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) She says he's just as crazy as he appears on TV! She says she might even be going down to London to watch the live show as part of his support group! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Oh Wagner (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I have to say I do feel very sorry for him because Louis is such a *beep*, always pronouncing his name incorrectly. My surname begins with 'Wa' too and it's pronounced 'Va', not 'Wa'. The number of times poor old Wagner has tried to tell Louis how to pronounce it correctly, and still he gets it wrong (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) I've had that problem my entire life so I know how he feels. *sigh*

As for his performances... Hmm, well. They're interesting. He amuses me! I don't think he has much luck with Louis as his mentor... I don't think ANYBODY would be lucky to have Louis as their mentor. He's an idiot.

But tell me Stephie, do you like Louis? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Wagner is, I feel, the Jedward of 2010, and Jedward are still doing OK for themselves. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I think, even if it's not in singing, that Wagner will hang around the airwaves for a while.

Not at all - he gives the poor Irish a bad name!

Yes, I agree. Though I'm not quite sure what group of people he would appeal to. I think that, above anything else, he just seems like a really friendly guy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Do you remember Margarita Pracatan? Wagner reminds me of a male version of her (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yes, he makes the show more entertaining! I remember last year, Jedward were the only reason I watched the X-factor, because they were just amusing to watch, and I think Wagner is the same this year! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
