Well this is it Grade 6 tomorrow (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) , I don't feel prepared, I have no idea if I'll pass or fail....but the worst that happens is that I retake next June with a study partner. Thank you for your help on here, it's been invaluable (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

If I have to retake I shall make sure i have a ton of past papers with anwers.....
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/ill.gif) Aaaarrggghhh I am going to be completely useless in work tomorrow morning!!

Good luck!!!! I'm sure it will be fine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

My biggest worry for next week is not so much the questions as how am I going to sit there for three hours without a loo break! I think I shall have to cut down on the cuppas that morning! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

the time passes surprisingly quickly...... especially when you get to a difficult bit..... although cutting down on coffee/tea will help as well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I was more concerned about missing my dinner (exam 5-8pm) and having a growling stomach throughout the exam......

I suppose one is allowed to nip out quickly if it's absolutely essential.....?

no, we were told today ABSOLUTELY NOT and to go then (at the start)or forever hold our peace!!

I'm back and brain fried! It was OK, the composition was suprisingly ok, but the harmony was a pig! I hope I've passed. Timed it well, had 10 mins at the end to check for silly mistakes. tempted to look again at hte harmony but decided to leave well alone!! Now just for the long wait....

It was the T paper.

Thank you very much for all your well wishes, and good luck to you all for Sat and next week. Now onto the grade 8 aural for next month!!

LOL I think it's cos we had to do it a week early due to school holidays here. It means I'm probably the only one is the world to sit that paper LOL

I was the only one doing grade 6 and the only one left in the room for the final hour - which was useful for the composition as I could hum under my breath and not annoy anyone, unlike the person sitting gr 5 that seemed to be humming ofr most of an hour!!! I nearly told the invigilator to ask herto be quiet, but thought that might be a bit mean!

Well done Dawn - it is good to have done it but the wait will go on - and on. I do hope you get a good pass.
Like other Grade 5s - mine is next Wednesday - I promise not to hum and distract others (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

When I sat my Grade 5 theory exam last year, there was a piano lesson going on downstairs an I realised it pretty difficult to concentrate on the paper while hearing "The Entertainer" being played. Fortunally, the piano lesson ended before I reached the composition.
