Misty. Have been working on it for weeks in order to play it at a workshop last Saturday. Now I can't get rid of it...

i had Rhinestone Cowboy in my head for 5 days (since friday, i think)
i don't know what it's called but it's a sort of mexican style piece that Andre Rieu and his orchestra played in 2010. |

The Kyrie from Haydn's Little Organ Mass. Mrs S and I have been asked to bulk up a local choir who are performing this in June.

I think it's Allegretto from the 2nd Movement of Beethoven's 7th symphony. I watched the film The Fall yesterday and this is played during the opening scene. It was stunning to watch and beautiful to listen to and I woke up with it in my head this morning.
This piece has been used in several films and, thinking about the subject-matter of the intro and the film itself, it might seem an odd choice, and yet I think it's perfect (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) |
