It's snowing heavily here. We're hoping for a snow day. I've promised son number 4, the home eductaed one, that he can have a snow day if the schools are shut. I don't really work and my husband is unemployed so we can all look forward to our snow day! I know it's really awful for some people, but it doesn't half look pretty.

I would normally love the prospect of a snow day and I'm actually hoping for at least some snow around here as we haven't had any yet, but I'd rather not have a full on snow day just yet - I'm on placement till 17th Dec and I still have loads to do, so a snow day would be really awful timing right now!!

I've just had a call to say the advent carol service tonight is cancelled. I was quite looking forwadr to arriving in the snow and everything being pretty, but it's no so good for the older members of the congregation.

I hope you get your placement finished okay.

"Do you want snow ... or not"

This is a question that separates the young (or young at heart) from the old fuddy-duddys (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It's not too bad around here, we only have a few cms of snow and the roads are pretty clear (apart from some small ones) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I would be much obliged if the snow fairies would make next Sunday a beautiful snow day as I don't have to go anywhere. I coud play snow games in the garden with the cats and dogs. Then those obliging snow fairies could melt away for Monday when I will need to get the car out.

However my guess is that the mudgoblins are more likely to rain on us.

Would you like some of the 10 inches of snow that's fallen here, and is still falling?... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
