Just heard my daughter has passed her ATCL in trombone performance!!! So very proud of her, especially as she was really unwell on the day (tonsilitis). Thank you SueHM for accompanying
First thing she said when she got her results was "when can I do my LTCL???" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) |

Don't have a clue what that is but many, many congratulations.
I think SueHM may be a lucky charm as that's two successes (that we know of) on the forum in a short space of time! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) The ATCL is a performance diploma MusicalNitWit. According to the exam board it is the standard of the equivalent to the performance component of the first year in a full time undergraduate course at a conservatoire. You have to give a recital of between 32 and 38 minutes without a break and write programme notes and a programme. It was great experience for my daughter and she now can use the postnominals of ATCL after her name should she want to (doubt she will as the kids at school would laugh their socks off!) |
