Hello,
I'm teaching myself for the grade 8 piano exam and am not sure on which time bars to play in this piece. I know not to repeat so am presuming that you play only the 2nd time bar, not the 1st. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Yes you're right, in ABRSM exams, repeats are omitted (unless specifically asked for in the syllabus).
So in the case of 1st and 2nd time repeat bars - play only the second time bars. denmark |

Agreed. I'm doing this piece for my Grade 8, it's lovely isn't it? So smooth and flowing.

Bar 42 is in fifths, has anybody notice this? I have checked another edition and it is the same. It seems a bit odd as bars 37 to 47 are a repeat of bars 5 to 16.
