I've just returned from teaching on the ESTA Summer School this year.
It was a great experience, lots of great people on the course from several different countries, and lots of interest in Kodaly, which was pleasing! One of the nicest things was having free concerts every night! I missed the first one but saw two great ones - the first by violinist David Le Page and the second by cellist Raphael Wallfisch. The concerts were very intimate, with only around 40 in the audience and the performers only a few feet away. I'm not a string afficionado in any way, but I absolutely loved them!! Just wondering who else has heard these two great performers play? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |
