I'm doing Grade 2 Piano in December. I need the last possible day of the last week. If I end up with the first day of the first week I shall scream.
And also Grade 4 Theory. Can I go 2 hours without a loo break? Nothing this session for Little Bella or Little Little Bella. But they're both planning on session A 2012. |

But when I entered online I saw that they are due to start releasing dates between 19th - 21st October. I presume this would be for the first week of exams. |

I ought to be doing Gr 5 piano - but I bottled it because the pieces were still rather shaky at the start of term, and I only had one lesson before the entry deadline (and only two before the earliest possible exam date). Pieces are now fine, naturally [though no doubt if I had entered they would still be dreadful! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ], so I have to decide whether to keep them going until March or just move on... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)
Son No.1 has Grade 5 theory, and Son No.2 is making heavy weather of Grade 1 piano. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) |

I had hoped to enter for Grade 5 piano but my pieces are not ready yet! Work has got in the way, but maybe they'll be ready for the Spring! Good luck to all of you who are entering exams!

Good luck everyone. Grade 3 violin for me, and I'm desperately hoping I'll be able to wangle the time off work, whenever it is.

Good luck to everyone in the exams (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Two weeks today it will all be over (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) My Gr 5 theory is on 2nd Nov at 5pm and I am now gently pacing myself doing some theory every day, writing out tenor and alto clef key signatures and learning a block of ten performance directions. During the next 12 days I'm doing the 2008 and 2009 past papers ( I've done 2006, 2007 and 2010 !). As I don't have a theory teacher it seemed like a good idea to get the whole set and plough through them. I have learned an incredible amount and also now realise that I can remember things. In a way I will be very pleased when it is over, but at the same time I'm thinking of buying the Grade 6 workbook on my way to the exam (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I enjoyed flautando's remark about buying the grade 6 books on the way to the grade 5 exam. I did exactly that 6 years ago and have yet to open them! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)
Good luck flautando! |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) Good luck flautando! Six years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Do you think you might be tempted to open them soon? Good luck with your exam katemorrisviolin and thank you. |
