I hired Peregrine Pianos, in Farringdon (London WC1) back in November 2011 for a run-through of my diploma programme - it was a good experience (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Would anyone working towards a diploma this year be interested if I was to hire the same venue for a couple of hours or so one Saturday daytime in June and another in November, to do a shared recital? I'll do my best on the rent-an-audience front! Profit would go to a charity of your choice. Would be able to fit two people in each slot.

Let me know! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Possibly, depending on dates although my programme isn't ready for full performance yet. June is a few months away though...

What sort of length of recital would be required? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It's the sort of thing I'd love to do: I need a deadline to give me a shove to do some work - however, I'm only just embarking on material, would probably need two years to learn enough for a whole dip recital, and am well aware that there will be others better placed and prepared to be able to take the idea up.

However....if space were to arise, later rather than sooner.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)...I'd volunteer if you don't get enough takers (and if you're not worried that recorder playing might put a potential audience off).

I'd be up for doing something, though might need to borrow an accompanist down south and not do the whole programme!

Quite possibly, although it would also be on clarinet in preparation for my ATCL (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Assuming that I'd be part of the rent-a-crowd, I think it is a stonkingly, brilliant idea. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Can't do 2012 (as in, wouldn't be prepared) but if you say this again in 2013 I might well be interested!

Yes, I'd be a willing crowd member if I can make it. And I'm not put off by recorders (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Oh, forgot to add in my earlier post- likewise, to both.

I'd liaise with the two interested parties for each of the recitals to get a suitable date for both June and November, Louise. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Enough time to play your entire diploma programme, P*P. It's designed to give others the opportunity I made for myself last year to play through my diploma programme in front of an audience. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If it's recorder, and you're happy for me to, I'd let the SRP know and get it advertised there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Let me know in good time if you need an accompanist, Nicki. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Clarinet is goooooood (not that I'm at all biased (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ). Let me know if you want one of the June slots, Appassionata (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks for replies!

Could people who are definitely interested in this please email me with thoughts, and free Saturdays in June and/or November? Many thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have one person on my list. And three more spaces. Any more for any more? Particularly for June? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
