I've been hoping to go to a jazz course this summer (ideally one week residential). I had three in mind: Guildhall, Trinity and Mehr Clef, but the second two are not taking place because of the Olympics, and the first clashes with some family commitments.
I've done some searching online and found a few others, but really I would like some personal recommendations. In particular, I'd like to know if anyone has any experience of this outfit: Jazz School. My priorities are improvisation skills and ensemble playing, in that order. I'm in London but willing to travel (perhaps not as far as Scotland, though). I would have posted this in the jazz section but I don't think it gets much traffic. Thanks! |
