(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) One of my ( (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) can't believe I forgot to put 'clarinet') pads has fallen off. (erm, I don't exactly know the name of the key) Its the one that is in between the 'E' key and the 'D' key in the chalumeau register - it fell off today (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Since its half term and my teacher (Who is also my repairer) is away... Are there any emergency solutions to this? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)
Thanks XD

Clingfilm (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Put the pad in position, then wrap both pad and pad cup tightly in clingfilm. It's a good 'get you home' repair until such time you see your teacher again. It's always good to have a little clingfilm in your case in case this happens at a critical time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Chewing gum or blue tack may work too. Works great on piccolo pads....ask me how I know!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I'll try that... at the moment I have put it in place with a piece of cigarette paper.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/ill.gif) You mean... I chew the gum and then stick it on? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Just don't use super glue! I would suggest blue tack and clingfilm together! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks everyone, great ideas, I have now been able to 'repair' the pad with blue tack and cling film (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
