Yes, me too. Post is very late today (2pm!) and has come while I've been out at school.

oh dear!

I think abrsm have finally come to a stand still....after being on hold for 35 minutes earlier (and having to hang up when pupil came) have been engaged for last hour and now automated msg: have had to close temporarily, due to unforseen circumstances....!

I only want to move two candidates around so that pupil doesn't have to come out of grade 2 piano and walk straight into grade 2 flute!

I would have thought the steward on the day would be able to organise this with the examiner - or is this part of the "you can't re-arrange the order of your examinees" rule?

I hope the stewards are thinking the same way as the teachers (o.e. "look, this is silly") and will mostly do the sensible thing whatever we've been told (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

And mine (miracles happen!)...I'm relieved and she's very pleased, even though it'll mean a 50-mile round trip! It's just such a pity I've had to kick up so much fuss before they did anything (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

So they post that you can now attempt to rearrange exam appointments 20 minutes before the phone lines close for the weekend (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

What's the chances of me still being able to rearrange my pupil's appointment on Monday??

Well, I phoned up on Monday morning - and they gave me a choice of 4 different dates and several different times for my pupil who couldn't make her allocated appointment!!

Seems there's a lot of cancellations then!

There is now a link to an extensive apology and explanation for all the problems on the homepage. They say they don't know what caused the deluge of calls this session, but I'm sticking with my original hypothesis. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)
