If by any chance there's anyone attending who happens to be comfortable playing jazz piano, then I could maybe play something - otherwise I could possibly join you for any post-event refreshments!

Seer_Green would do a good job, I'm pretty sure.

Do join us for post-event fun and games, yes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . Vicky, do you want me to find somewhere for that? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

That sounds exciting - would like to come along possibly (learning violin) and can also accompany on piano if needed (can sight read)!

If I count as an adult learner, I might be able to come.

Something like Autumn Leaves maybe? Fairly straightforward and reasonably well known - but I'm quite flexible so if there's a jazz standard you'd like to do I should be able to pull it together.

I'm sure that's fine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (I'm sure any other accompanist could do it too!)

Haha!
I told Barry-Clari I would try to make it but do I want to spend my birthday on public transport?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
Is it easy to access by car? (I'm assuming not?)

It's easy to access by car and there's an NCP car park very close by. There may be on street parking in the vicinity but I'm not sure what the parking restrictions are. When we get the website up and running I'll put all this info on.

There are meters close to the church : they operate 8am-11am on a Saturday, otherwise parking is free. So if you arrive after 9am, pay 2 GBP to park 2 hours, then it's free thereafter. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Pianonotes has just alerted me to this event, but unfortunately I will be away that weekend in Belfast. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Otherwise I would love to have come and joined in the fun at a new location.
