For those of you who are pet-people, just to let you know I had my beloved Felix Simmons put to sleep at about 4am. I have just packed all of his stuff away and somehow need to grab some zeds as I am teaching at 10 albeit a shorter than usual shift. Been up with him since 2. He was not your average cat....my beautiful, beautiful boy....
So now it's just me. Won't be contributing to the message boards for a while. Thanks for letting me offload it here. Bereft-Bag x |

Sorry to hear this. We lost our 19yr old cat last summer - the last of a long line of cats. It's heartbreaking collecting up all their things afterwards. Hope you took lots of photographs while he was alive so you've got some happy memories when you are able to look at them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thereThere.gif)

Sympathies - very sorry to hear this. It'll leave a big gap in your life - but, hoping not to sound totally cheesey here, of course he will always be in your heart.
I'm sure your pupils wouldn't mind if you cancelled - I bet you never normally do! - and get some rest? Or will you welcome having a few students as a distraction? Take care. Helen x |

As the owner of a beautiful boy myself (in my profile pic) who is also not so well at the moment, I feel for you.
To me he will never be "just a cat", as some people tell me when I worry about him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Love and hugs to you. xxxxx |
