Advanced Member Group: Members Posts: 367 Joined: 8-February 05 From: London Member No.: 3103	Hi, I'm not sure if this is allowed but I wanted to mention a project in my local neighbourhood that is asking for your support. I work with teenagers in Tottenham and the young people I work with have been deeply affected by the riots that took place here last summer. A number lost their homes in the fires and many families lost their businesses to the looters. One of the local schools created a project called Everybody Dreams based on a song written by their students. The song is being released as a single on Monday 20th August and their dream is for it to reach the top 40. The BBC covered the story today on their website here. The song is available to download at Amazon or iTunes. The proceeds from the song are to be used to buy instruments for the school's first ever classical orchestra. If you felt able to support this amazing group of young people by buying their single it would be fantastic. If you could spread the word to others that would be good too. Thanks for reading, onion

Advanced Member Group: Members Posts: 392 Joined: 17-July 08 Member No.: 35286	Discovered this today, and it is truly inspiring! The power of music (whatever you think of the genre)! And the inspiration of youth! Have already downloaded and encouraging lots of others to do likewise. I lived in Tottenham for a brief spell back in the 90s, but I'd be inspired anyway, even if I'd never lived there.
