Federer to the final, I guess (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'm sitting watching the tennis and have so many other things I should be doing... I don't even know who Baker and Paire are (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) |

After the Nadal - Rosol match? I wouldn't be ruling Roddick out... Roddick is out. So there! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)Car Expert |

So where were you all last night? Was so glad they managed to finish in the nick of time on centre court. What a nailbiter!

I don't even know who Baker and Paire are (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Paire is a petulant young Frenchman who is currently the new golden boy of French tennis and therefore thinks that he's allowed to have a sulky fit when things don't work out. Baker used to be the world number one junior until a series of horrific injuries completely side-lined him and, when he was finally fit, he made his living for a few years teaching tennis at US universities, and then decided to give the pro circuit one last go before he got too old. As you can tell, I'm rather glad Baker won . . . |

The match between Cilic and Querry (which Cilic won 17-15 in the final set) was the second longest match in Wimbledon history at 5hrs 31mins. That was still only half as long as the longest match (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
Funnily enough, they had the same commentator (Ronald McIntosh) that did the Isner-Mahut match. He must be cursed or something...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) They were pretty lucky to get both matches finished last night - I would say the last game in each match was probably the last game they could've possibly played. I would like him to win in that it would give UK tennis a huge boost but that's it, final. Apart from that I'll be cheering Cilic every inch of the way. And, of course, you can't help feeling a little sorry for Andy - we don't choose our mothers, do we ? |

I've always enjoyed watching the french players, ever since I first watch Wimbledon, and Tsonga is a definite favourite. So I hope someone has a word or two with Paire. |

Am I the only one in a huff because the BBC didn't show Raiders of the Lost Ark last night? I wanted my husband to watch it with my children while I went to a concert. Stupid tennis!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

And there be rain in SW19. The Murray - Cilic match managed two more games (both on serve) before the rain fell. To be honest, I don't think there'll be much, if any more play apart from on Centre Court today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) |
