What are we going to do? We have our ensemble performance of Bohemian Rhapsody on Wednesday, And he's gone and got the mumps!
It's ruined! There's no way he can record a backing track, there lots of pauses, and lots of rubato...and there's no other guitarrists of his standard around, and even if there was, there'd be no time to train them!!! AAARRRRRGHHHHHHHH! :( |

Oh dear. I'm sure he'd prefer not to have mumps though. Its awful I had it when I was about 12 and I looked like a hamster for nearly two weeks.
Hope you can work something out. Is he really not going to be able to do it on Wednesday? If its his ensemble too he'll have to do it at a later date. What does your teacher say? |

Well, haven't spoken to her yet. It's a competition, kind of an Internal Young Musician of the year. And he's in two different ones, so that'll shorten the show quite a lot.....
