What is the hardest instrument to play? for me is the trombone, because you need to place the right position in slide to play the notes. and its mouthpiece is too large. and the trombone is heavy. if you're beginner, you can't play the note easily. example you're playing G instead of A.

What is the easiest instruments? for me is the piano and strings instrument.!!

Possibly not the most difficult: I don't play horn or bassoon (do play harp a bit though) so I can't compare it. But a loooooooooooong way from beign a doddle.

What instrument a person finds easy or hard depends so much on what strengths and weaknesses they have. Personally, I find wind instruments a doddle compared with strings, but I know others have exactly the opposite view. And piano is hard in some respects (2 lines of music, two hands potentially doing completely opposite things) but in other respects is easy (ie no intonation problems, and once you know where the notes are in one octave, you know all 5 or 6 or however many it is). It all depends on the person, so it's essentially impossible to generalise...

There are instruments generally regarded as harder (ie French horn and bassoon as you say, both being difficult in terms of getting the notes and hard to play in tune too) but if someone has a natural bent toward one instrument or another, they could even find those instruments easy. I had a friend at school who was an excellent recorder player (grade 8 plus before she left primary school, as far as I recall), and also played piano and violin. She'd been having violin lessons for some years and was good but not exceptional at it. She took up bassoon at the start of her first year and in her third year went off to Chetham's as a first study bassoonist with a scholarship... so one can't help thinking that she, at least, found the bassoon easier than the violin!
