I've just got home from a very enjoyable rehearsal! Five of us adult learners (Suepea, Katyjay, Deborah, noisybassoon and myself) met up at suepea's house to rehearse some of our items for the September concert. Fen was to have been there as well, but unfortunately she was called away to Singapore on business!

We rehearsed a couple of solos, a duet and a trio, had lunch and a good gossip - and then did more rehearsing afterwards. It was great, and very helpful getting the input from the others and noting areas for improvement!

Thanks very much for having us, Sue - it was a really good day, and has set me up with a smile for the week to come! :)

Here here! A whole weekend doing music - what a treat!

Disappointed to discover that katyjay isn't tall and blonde though. Isn't it amazing the pictures you build up of what people look like?

Now, must find the piano to practice the bits I know I kept getting wrong

Yes indeed, thanks Supea for a very enjoyable day. :D :D

I went home and said to hubby "Deborah thinks I'm blonde" and he laughed his head off!

So I've been spending the time since I got back examining all my previous posts to see what I wrote that gave a "blonde" impression.....

Cheers

Katyjay

I really enjoyed having you all here today. It's a great help to have input from other people and we all know the bits we need to practise now!

Sorry I am intruding again into the A.L Forum. It sounds like you really had a good time, although I can imagine opening the door to people and trying to work out who it was.

Katyjay - you don't strike me as blonde, I can't imagine what you look like actually!!

I've really got 'Soldier Soldier' stuck in my head today - I was humming my recorder part all round Tesco's (sotto voce!) :P
