Very unconvincing performance from England as far as I heard...

Now we know the lineups of the various leagues this coming season, let's see how inaccurate I can be predicting winners and losers... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Premiership : 1. Manchester United; 2. Chelsea; 3. Arsenal; 4. Manchester City; 5. Tottenham; 6. Everton
Relegated : West Bromwich, West Ham, Wolves.

Championship : Promoted - Burnley, Leicester City, Middlesbrough
Relegated : Scunthorpe, Barnsley, Preston

...and...

I'm hoping for better things from Charlton (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yay.gif)

It would be. Might give Sheff Wed a chance to be reprieved from relegation, but let's hope it doesn't come to that...

Blackpool to stay up then? Interesting...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

My predictions:

Premier League top: 1. Chelsea, 2. Man Utd, 3. Man City, 4. Arsenal, 5. Everton, 6. Tottenham
Premier League bottom: 18. Wolves, 19. West Ham, 20. Blackpool

Championship promotion: Cardiff (unless they go into financial trouble, in which case I'll go for Leicester), Middlesbrough, Bristol City
Championship relegation: Watford, Scunthorpe, Crystal Palace/Sheff Wed

Leyton Orient will finish 17th again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I'm not predicting Reading to go up because I'm always wrong (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It's also one less local rival for Charlton if Palace go under - and that's an important part of football...

If this were to happen, would it mean that the Owls got to stay up after all? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Yes, that would be what would happen - quite a few non league teams have been reprieved from relegation this season due to other teams' financial problems.

This is a total stab in the dark, as we won't know what the teams will look like until after the transfer window closes and also don't know what managers will come/go over the summer (so if you ask again in Sept i may give a rather different set of predictions). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Prem:
1) Man U, 2) Chelsea, 3) Man City, 4) Arsenal, 5) Tottenham*, 6) Liverpool, 7) Villa. *This may change dependent on the outcome of redknapp's court case, in which case I'd put Liverpool and Villa up a place.

Relegated: Wolves, Wigan and Blackpool/Sunderland/Brum.

Championship:
Promoted - any out of Forest, Cardiff, Leicester, Swansea, Reading, Ipswich, Doncaster, Leeds, Burnley, Portsmouth (dependent on what happens with them). If Portsmouth manage to get themselves sorted out over the summer then they may well win the league - if they don't get themselves sorted then I'd expect a middle table finish with Nottingham Forest winning the Championship. I hate to say it, but I'm expecting another disappointing season for Boro. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Relegated:
Watford/PNE (dependent on whose finances end up worst), Coventry, Scunthorpe.

League 1:
Promoted - Owls (as Champs - unless they get a reprieve from Palace's troubles) and two out of Charlton/Colchester/Huddersfield (or all three if Owls stay up).

Relegated: Exeter, Monkey Hangers ((IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) but they only just survived this year), Daggers, Notts County.

League 2:
Promoted: Rotherham, Bury, two out of Gills/Wycombe/Southend.

Relegated: Barnet, Oxford.

League 2: Promoted - Luton and Darlington (I hope (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fingersCrossed.gif)).

For League One promotion, I would say Southampton are the favourites to go up for me, again with two out of Charlton, Colchester and Huddersfield to join them.

Relegation - can't see Dagenham staying up (but they probably will (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)). Exeter will probably go down as well with two out of Hartlepool, Yeovil, Bournemouth, Rochdale or Carlisle.

League Two - quite a long list of promotion contenders I've come up with. Should be between Rotherham, Port Vale, Southend, Northampton, Chesterfield, Bradford and Shrewsbury. Stevenage, Burton, Aldershot or Morecambe could spring a surprise mind you...

For relegation, Oxford should stay up. I'll go for Torquay and Barnet to go down.

world cup immense fantasy team. 4-3-3. Gk- julio cesar; rwb maicon, cb lucio, cb vidic, lwb ashley cole; rcm xavi, cm fabrigas, lcm iniesta; lf rooney, cf torres, rf messi. I might be cheating by just picking h the spanish midfield (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) .
