I found a really good game. called "wizard" from canada. Anybody heard of it?
Basically you have to predict the number of tricks you will make. On turn 1 each player has 1 card, turn 2 each player has 2 cards, turn 3 is 3 cards each and so on. It goes on for 20 turns. really fun game! |

My favourite card game? Hmmm....it has to be snap because it's the only one I know all the rules of lol. Or em what's it called...the one where you have lots of bombs, like 3 A'S or 4 8's or something random like that. I get generally confused by cards though!!!!!!!!

You have three queens (not including QC) and you got to make sure you don't end up with the last queen (the old maid). Deal out the remaining 51 cards (one player will have an extra card) and lay out the remaining cards on the table. Then, you have to hold your cards out in a fan and your opponent picks a card from your fan. He finds that he should have a pair, which he lays on the table. Do the same for the other player, and so on, until one card is left, which should be the Old Maid. The other player wins.
Edit: The part in bold is meant to say: If you have any pairs, lay them out on the table. Car Expert This post has been edited by Car Expert: Aug 5 2005, 06:04 PM |

Every family should play crib, so that the children have an incentive to learn mental arithmetic. Contract bridge is interesting once you get into it, though it is a bit tricky to play totally fairly, because of all the ethics and conventions. Skat is a game that I would love to try, but I can't tell you much about it. I was a member of a bridge four at college. Skat is for three and is what bridge enthusiasts play when one of the four is absent. Unfortunately I was usually the absent one, because I was playing my horn in a concert somewhere, so I never found out how to play skat.
