I see you've moved Nat. Do you think you'd feel better if you moved back?

QUOTE(YetAnotherPianist @ Aug 26 2005, 10:37 PM) QUOTE(sarah-flute @ Aug 26 2005, 11:35 PM) One of the things I miss about home - the town's water was from a bore hole. Lovely soft taste, better than a lot of mineral water really. Makes wonderful tea and coffee too. oooh... sounds good. mine in the village where I grew up was hard and chlorine-y... ick... and here it's even worse! ho hum. plus hard water is naff for hair, especially if your hair is curly... which mine VERY much is! Never had Manchester water. Devon water is great for hair... I seem to remember it tastes OK too. I don't recall Durham water was anything special... I don't remember! |

Wiltshire water is naff. We occasionally get the odd bit of chlorine running through, and it's really hard and limescaley..ironing is a problem, whenever you try to steam something, your clothes get convered in little stupid bits of limescale.....chlorine water can be quite refreshing however....
Just down the road, they have better water than us *shakes fist in the general Bratton direction* which isn't fair. |
