Does anyone have any ideas of good books to help me with some methods of teaching flute and /or piano??
I want to have some new ideas.......on how to teach music!

If you're looking for help with teaching, try "The Music Teacher's Companion" published by the Associated Board. I think it's by Richard Crozier and Paul Harris, but I'm not 100% sure. And welcome to the forums, by the way!

here are some books which you might find interesting. I am not sure if they are all in print but they are probably still around in libraries.
The Pianists problems - William Newman
We Piano Teachers - Victor Booth
Healthy Piano technique - Carola Grindea
Teaching piano volume 1 and 2 - Denes Agay
There is also a nice book by Fanny Waterman but I can't remember the title
