I finally got this one memorized and now I am working towards refining the music. Anyone else play this piece ?
I was thinking of learning No. 2 after so that I can complete the Opus 69.
Although I'm an adult beginner, I find this piece to be probably some of chopin's easier pieces.
One memorizing technique I am presently using is to break the music into its patterns. Example: A, B, C, C, D, C, A.
So basically we see 4 sections that need to be memorized. Once I've done that, its just a question of inserting each section where needed. And when its time to perfect the technique, I'll usually practise just one section that I'm having problems with and even go deeper if needed.
