My Nokia 6300 will do all sorts of things. Musically it will play anything from a police siren to Bach. Will make good photos and mini videos too.
Whats your favourite sandwich filling ? (maybe we have had this before)- I like smoked salmon on a thin bed of 'Philadelphia' light with chives. Apple, celery and cottage cheese mixes well too.

i once had to play at a wedding where the bride and groom both wore long dark capes/cloaks with huge hoods, and jumped over a broomstick to seal the marriage... appropriately, this was on the day that one of the previous harry potter books was made available for purchase.

I don't have an alternative festival, no... although it is for religious reasons that I don't celebrate.
At that time of year, we normally have family round. Other than that, not much!

Sort of..one of my local restaurants has Christmas menus out which are surrounded by crackers and things. Most houses leave their (grotesque IMO) Father Christmas, reindeer etc. up all year round ready to light up again at the end of October!!
I'm thinking of going into hibernation until the Spring. Anyone care to join me?

No...but my mum often relates tales of "The Winter of 62/3" ! My twin and I were born in Dec 62 and we didn't leave the house until the following April/May apparently!

No I dont think I've ever appeared or been mentioned in the 'Wirral News' or the 'Chester Chronicle'.
I still have cuttings from the 'Keighley News' from 1957 and 1963 though (the latter when I got ALCM!), and Ive had two letters published in the Daily Telgraph.

Can you recommend a particularly good claret at the minute? I find they can be hit and miss. There's so much damned Australian stuff around that shops stock less French these days.

We had a bottle of 'Grand Cru' St Emilion the other day, it came from M & S . Can't remember the Chateau name off hand, but it cost about £8.99. Should be enough info here to locate it. Theres also an excellent Rioja in a yellow bottle with 'string' round, at about the same price.
I love most foods that are smoked. I usually have kippers for breakfast when I stay over in Headingley.
