Sorry, I will use D minor and try and write note names...
It starts like this. Take them all as quavers at about a crotchet = 120 ish (pretty approximate)
D A G A F A E A D A G A Bb G F E D
Anyone? If it even has a name!

Ahhh, I know a song you mean, but can't remember what it is called
Yes, that's what I was thinking.
Is it from the X Files? Is it Tubular Bells?

What you have written down is not the exorcist (which is tubular bells), it is a tune which was used in Trigger Happy TV - I don't know its name sorry!

Yea, we've established it isn't tubular bells from the exorcist.
Not really sure where to go from here... we may never find out

How can I tell whether the next note is higher or lower than the one before it?! You need a more accurate encoding scheme
nicki_flute
Dec 12 2006, 10:32 PM
I'm sure it is from a film

Take D as the lowest note, all other remaining in the octave starting on the D given.
Found it, it's in the middle of Drifting away by Faithless after about 3 mins of opera style stuff! On the trigger happy tv soundtrack.
