HI all
Am I the only single musician? I have come back to clarinet playing after my 17 yr marriage ended in divorce. I turned back to music hoping that I might find someone with similar interests but in the bands I play with everyone my age seems to be already spoken for! Maybe we could organise a social evening at a central venue for us all to meet up?

Seeing as this form is about 70/30 - ladies/men - your luck would possibly be in rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

Ferretman, are you looking for lurve? Join a choir! Within the last few years, two of the tenors in Valhalla Choral Society have married two of the sopranos, having met at rehearsals.

The other great musical pick-up joint is the Proms queue, but it's very male-dominated. I had an awful lot of choice!

Having a musician as a girlfirend was one of the best things ever!! God it felt so sweet when we played the piano together! Hahaha thats it if I go out with a girl that doesn't play I'm damn going to send her to lesosns or teach her myself tongue.gif lol

well love is just when your brain releases endorphins (or some other thing, I'm not sure what) into somewhere else as I haven't thought about what I'm saying before writing this. logically, if you release these chemicals as a result of somebody, it seems that their brain should notice this and also release them. I can't be bothered to write my reasoning after that but it seems that if it is a game it is a very straight forward one.
