According To my Dr I will have my disease for the next 20 years until my body has developed complete immunity to it or something. I wonder if it means I cant donate blood...

Just my joints. My left shoulder and elbow becomes agnoy quite quickly when I practice my flute and is quite often swolen quite a bit. But its not too bad. I have a freind who has a freind who went blind on one eye from Lymes.

I HATE THIS VIRUS! It seems to be hanging on forever, and having spent today in bed (v annoying, missed playing in chapel & missed choir prac) I now can't sleep despite the fact that I went (back) to bed about 5 or 6 hours ago....

My throat is now starting to irritate me

Don't be stoical! I get quite irritated when those who are meant to love me and care for me "forget" that there are limits to what I can do. Oh and Malone nobody copes when someone is sick for more than a fortnight. Don't let people get you down when your still no better and people think you're some kind of hypochondriac!

Just a gentle warning. I have lost count of the boxes of tissues I've been through in similar circumstances.

Have got the lurgy for the second time in 3 weeks. Not fair. Good thing is means I don't have to swim. Shame. Means I can get more work done. WHO AM I KIDDING? Feel awful.

Started Saturday with sore throat, Sunday was bad but thought I was improving by Monday, but today I'm wiped out

Yipee! I've escaped fortress Addenbroke's Hospital.

OK I have Gastritis, Stomach Ulcers and am slightly anaemic, but at last I'm home!

I couldn't fault the quality of care I was given by all the staff on the ward, and the endoscopy suite. After this stay I feel quite angry that Nurses have had such a bad pay award. The nurses taking care of me were extremely caring and professional.

I am just very bruised now. I keep finding them, I need to pick a softer floor next time

Sorry I haven't been around for a while folks! Hope the good weather has cleared off the last of those bugs for the time being.

For some of us its not the weather! Oh I wish I was up to pottering in the garden, but alas I overdid things Friday and was decidedly "pale and interesting" on Saturday. I've trying to rest ever since. I hope things arn't getting any worse, but I've had terrible stomach pains today.

Poor Bagpuss has a sore throat and is feeling very low...being nearly killed by an idiot boy racer this afternoon (who instead smashed into an elderly gentleman's car in front of her) hasn't helped her state of health, either...
