Another poor day though DANCING DASI was second, should have done better at 8-13 on fav. MUSICAL BRIDGE, runnung for first time was also second at 17-2.

Yesterday POP won at 3-1
However the newspaper I used yesterday (not my usual one) musn't have contained the race card for Fontwell, otherwise we would have had another winner in our old friend MUSIC CELEBRE at 7-1.
None of our other horses was placed, though Mango Music didnt run.

WOOD CHORUS could only manage second at 4-5 on fav. Others failed, though I didn't spot/report OCARINA which was third at 15-2.

Well considering the long list yesterday, a win and two seconds was perhaps a bit disappointing.
CAMPANOLOGIST won at 9-2, ROSSINI'S DANCER second at 9-2, and OPERA PRINCE second at the long odds of 28-1. I dont know what happened to Brother Barry!
Another good list today, all with a good chance (no complete outsiders) and one really special horse outlined in red - its even at the right course ! I'll PM Thea about it.

Right they've all run now, and we have three winners!
MY KAISER CHIEF won at the amazing odds of 20-1
JAZZ DANCE won at 6-1
MUSICAL BAR won at 5-1No horses in minor placings, checking full lists Paddy the Piper was fourth , all the others were between 6th and 8th, except Scaramoushca which was 14th !
Interestingly the 3.05 race at Thirsk was the
BARRIE SULLIVAN Handicap !
I found out what happened to CHEERS FOR THEA yesterday.. She came 6th at 10-1 rumming for the first time.
She is a grey filly , and trained in Ireland
Back on Monday !

I have found out that CHEERS FOR THEA, came 6th at Ripon yesterday in her first race. She was a 10-1 chance. She is a grey filly trained in Ireland, so we may not see her too much at UK courses.

Affrettando runs this evening at Wolverhampton. After the farce last time he was supposed to run there, I wasn't too keen on going back, but James Toller says opportunities for him are limited, so we must take what comes.
Anyway, he may need the race as he's been off the track for some time, but he's got the advantage of Eddie Ahern in the saddle! Good luck, Eddie, if you happen to read this (which I don't suppose you probably will!)

We had a first/third in the 2.10 at Towcester, but the underdog beat the favourite. DYNAMIC RHYTHM romped home at 8-1 with LEARNING THE BLUES ,2-1 fav, coming in third.

Four placed horses yesterday. Best bet would have been 'each way' on ROGERS ACCORDION which came in third at 66-1 !. It would have netted more than FIGARO FLYER, which won at good odds also of 17-2.
COOL SONATA was second at 9-4, but our best hope WOOD CHORUS again was 4-5 on favourite, but only managed second.
