I know... and there were a lot of non - runners in every race. One of the horses refused to move from the starting line. It was as if it was thinking 'there is no way i am running around here for no one'.

Reminds me of many years ago I went to the greyhounds. Noramlly they dash out of the starting traps and chase an eectronically controlled 'hare'
One very intelligent dog turned round and ran round the track the other way ! Presumably to get to the hare first. The race was declared void !

Well... the dog thought he was being clever.

This horse just wouldnt move, then when the others went, he still stood there. So they had to take him back to the stables. That was the reason my Dad lost his place pot, and it was the horse my sister had picked

DR BRASS was a non runner yestreday and the other two were unplaced.

Yesterday the Ayr meeting was abandoned (unsafe track) and Sandown also abandoned after three races (slippery final bend), so we lost three of our runners.
