Dream of Olwyn!!
I've got the sheet music for it - I might play it at the Anglesey concert

Either that or the Dambusters

I'll bet that it is the Dream of Olwen that you have!

We played the Dambusters March on kazoos in Leeds and very good it was too. No we didn't, we played Colonel Bogey! My mistake.

Not a winner ! IM SINGING THE BLUES was second at 4-5 on fav. STAR TENOR (9-2) and ICE BELLINI (3-1fav) were both third.
For the record, we had an excellent fourth place at 150-1 for SONATE DE LA TOUR.

Results except one in post #827. In the showdown 18.50 at Great Leighs, FAST FREDDIE was third, but at 5-4 fav so should have done better. Sands Crooner was sixth.

On Friday we had a musical winner in IRISH BALLAD at 4-1 jt fav. No placed horses.
As Barry has already pointed out, our forumite winner was KING BARRY at 10-1
Amusingly in the 12.45 at Kelso where three forumites were running, they were the last three to finish (though there was one faller) 13th 14th 15th at 33-1, 150-1 and 200-1. in the order Tom, Brian, Fiona. As FINZI was mentioned yesterday, I'm afraid it was unplaced.
