Racing at Sedgefield , which would have given us four runners (Moon Melody, Jethro Tull, Heavenly Chorus and OLTVA's Sycho Fred) is abandoned today.
This leaves three runners, none of them has a great chance:-

Newcastle was waterlogged yesterday so no racing. However we didnt do too badly.
At Kempton SYRINX won at 7-4 fav, ROCK ANTHEM was second at 9-2. At Newbury FRENCH OPERA came in second at 10-3, with SONG OF SONGS just behind in third at 8-1.

There have been worse! I remember a couple of handicappers called 'Beware of Agents' and 'Newmarket Sausage' and there was a top class stayer who won the St.Leger called 'Snurge' which was the owner's old school's slang for er....something to do with bicycles seats - 'nuff said!

'Phil' was a failure! Indeed all the musical ones failed.
Fontwell meeting was abandoned, thus removing FREDDYS STAR from the equation.
However FABULOUS FRED ws second at 8-1 and FREDDIES RETURN third at 18-1
WHAT KATIE DID also came third at 11-1, so all the forumites except BEN performed well !
