Well I've no doubt that UNITED NATIONS will win,but £10K to win at 4-7 on gives much less return than 5-4.
Its certainly not worth going each way
I'd rather put a few quid on Chjimes! It won its last race.
(I have been to Chjimes - theres a place called that in Singapore, with lots of cafes /restaurants etc. Yes, and musical activity)
Going to bed now ! Sweet dreams both of you.

Well Petrats suggestion of UNITED NATIONS (not even musical!) fell flat on its back (well maybe not literally!) as it came second despite being 8-15 on fav.
My suggestion of CHJIMES as the best bet was a triumph as it won at 14-1. In fact we had three winners on Friday. Besides CHJIMES and SILK DRUM, another winner for us was RIDGEWAY JAZZ at 5-1
Todays runners:-
MOONLIGHT MUSIC (Ludlow 14.20) 7-2
SIMPLE RHYTHM (Wolverhampton 14.30) 6-1
KINGS CHORISTER (Wolverhampton 16.10) 8-1
PICCOLO DIAMANTE (Wolverhampton 13.55) 16-1
BOOGIE DANCER (Ludlow 14.20) outsider
DIMINUTO (Wolverhampton 15.05) outsider

In Friday Chepstow was waterlogged so no racing, amd acouple of our horses at other courses were non runners.
So all we got was a third place from RIDGEWAY JAZZ at 8-1
Had I been able to post Saturdays runners we would have had a 'one - two' at Lingfield from DIVERTIMENTI and BOLD DIVA. Also a winner was IM SINGING THE BLUES.
Today Southwell and Lingfield are already abandoned. At the moment Wolverhampton is still on but there are no musicals, just one horse from the OLTVA stable in FANTASTIC FRED, expected to be favourite at 13-8.

Feb 6 2009, 08:18 AM
Only Wolverhampton and Southwell happened, and Don Picolo was a non runner.
All we got was a poor third place from forumite AMBER MOON at 2-1 fav.
Today four meetings scheduled, but there are only musical horses at Kempton and Bangor-on-Dee:-

Feb 6 2009, 04:40 PM
Kempton was too frosty for racing today, and whilst Bangor was OK, two of our three were non-runners.
GERSHWINNER however saved the day with a third place at 40-1.
Still Monte Major to run at Wolverhampton this evening.
Tomorrow (Saturdays) runners:-
CHJIMES (Lingfield 13.50) 6-4 fav won last two races

Feb 10 2009, 08:37 AM
Well they all ran ! Our 'cert' LONGBOAT KEY however started at 2-7 on favourite, but was beaten into second place. FABULOUS FRED started odds on (4-6) and was also beaten into second.
However it was a jackpot for Petrat as COMMON DIVA won at 11-1. Her virtual bet of £40K means she wins £440K less betting tax.
However that would not have been the best bet. An each way bet on ORCHESTRATION would have yielded more as it started at 150-1 !! and came third. (ANGEL VOICES and TUNE UP THE BAND were well behind in the same race)
There was also a third place for WIND INSTRUMENT at 11-4
Todays runners a bit later.
