I'm thinking of buying a grade 6 piano syllabus, and aiming to do an exam at Easter 08, but if I can't prepare in time, then Summer 08. If I bought a syllabus now, would I still be allowed to play the same pieces in the Summer exam period, or would there be a new syllabus by then?

I tried looking on this site for the answer, and found something but I was a little bit confused.

On the assumption you are in the UK, this current piano syllabus can be used up to and including the first session of exams in 2009.

Overseas regulations are sometimes a bit different.

Good luck with the Grade 6!
