bwahahaha oh how many times have I done that???

I just found out that hubs can hear my violin with the metal practice mute on in the bath - even though I'm not playing in an adjoining room, and the bathroom door was shut and my room door pulled too!! I think he was a bat in a previous life!!!! laugh.gif

I am really missing my music lessons sad.gif I really need to find a new flute teacher in my new area and I'm going to ask my violin teacher to give me some more stuff to work on. The reality of living apart from OH and dog during the week is hitting home and making me quite down so it would be lovely to have music again to focus on.

On the plus side, one of my violins has now relocated with me so at least I have a violin to come back to in the evenings. I suppose if I am desperate I could put a lead and collar on it and take it for a walk.......

Once again reminded why people generally don't start families in their 50s.
Two lovely days of looking after almost 3 year old granddaughter while childminder is on holiday and I'm shattered! And she's a good little thing really.

Strange feeling the 'I've outgrown my instrument' feeling.. wacko.gif spose at grade 6 it was expected at some point I'd outgrow my beginners Yamaha guitar! Instrument browsing time!

When I bought a bass viol I never expected to be playing a pizzicato bass part to Moonlight Serenade on it - especially on an Early Music Course. blink.gif

Mine's feeling a bit neglected as the tenor gets all the attention, but I did tune it up at the weekend rolleyes.gif

Ah right - know a number of the tutors. I've done a number of weekends with David Hatcher and numerous workshops with Philip Thorby.
