Somebody has just asked me "What does next week look like?"
It took all my restraint not to say 'well, it kind of starts over on the top left with a Monday, it's got some day-type-things going on in the middle, then it finishes nicely with a Saturday/Sunday weekend at the bottom right' (week-on-view calendar).

Yeah, I knew the risks when I got sucked in by Great Big Pharma Inc. It's probably more a surpirse that after 10 years I even notice people saying these things. Actually, it makes me wonder about the ones that doubtless do get said but I don't notice...

Haha I've had an entire pity day for myself. Have a fun party - drink honey and lemon, and lie in bed (or on the sofa) watching comforting films.
Do you think the desire to sing is directly proportional to the pain of a sore throat for a reason? Maybe it's just cause I know I shouldn't.

Feel even worse this morning. Had porridge for breakfast, and a couple of aspirins. Curling up with a box of Kleenex and a book for the rest of the day.

There is free cake on offer at work. You have to walk over to by the canteen to get it.
Nobody seems to be going to get any
(Well, having made my first scary phone call of the day, I think I will go and get some to fortify myself with free cake prior to making my second scary phone call of the day. Even if nobody else is going over there).

That would mean it's also warmer up here (which I doubt) because we get lads wearing shorts in December and January, and...(any other month you choose).
And don't ask what lasses wear - I'm usually distinctly over-dressed on a night out, and I will generally wear nice jeans/trousers, a strappy top and a thin cardi-style top.

I have no coat that I can wear except my big winter one and a leather jacket. I love my leather jacket, but it doesn't seem to fit my shy, classical music/musical loving personality, and I always feel like people are looking at me funny when I wear it, though I know it suits me as much as anything does...
Shall I wear it when I go out tonight, or shall I get cold?
