I have just spent time trying to sort out the mobile telephone of the daughter of the Bishop from Uganda who is visiting our deanery.
Quite why it came into my hands, I'm not sure! Through amazing detective skills

, I found it didn't have a SIM card (most probably intentionally- but that wasn't mentioned to me) and it is currently charging (with a charger the Bishop bought from a 'phone shop on his trip out yesterday) and saying "Bonjour"
I'm not quite sure what the problem is, or why it has travelled so far (600km in a very bumpy truck to the airport, then to the UK, and probably taken up to Scotland when they went up there for a few days too!) but it seems to be charging...
