Hi Everyone

I did post on the viva woodwind section yesterday....I'm a new forum member, my name's Michelle and I play the clarinet and flute. Aside from music my other interests are Doctor Who, (both Classic and New Series) and I also do a little embroidery (cross stitch). I spend most of my spare time on the computer these days though! Favouite things to watch on TV apart from Doctor Who are musical films and costume dramas. I'm not a soap fan so won't be joining in any conversations about the soaps (if anyone here does talk about the soaps!)

Anyway that's a bit about myself if anyone's interested!

Hi Michelle! Good to have you with us. I'm not sure anyone here talks about the soaps, or Dr Who, though there used to be a lot of talk about Harry Potter at one time.

The main idea of the forum is to talk about music, and if you have any musical questions there is usually someone erudite to enlighten you. But some of the threads are more lighthearted and can be about almost anything. So have a good browse and then contribute to any topics that take your interest.

I don't think we have an embroidery thread .... (so sorry folks ...!)


But I know there's another forum member who is seriously into cross-stitch so maybe we'll see one some time
