Concert last night was fun, if terrifying. We the junior choir sang four songs with silly words as the theme - Doo wah diddy, Da doo ron ron ron, We go together (from Grease) and the Witch-doctor song. (Oo, ee, oo ah ah...)
We all went VERY hyper afterwards, and ran around laughing at everything.
(I won't mention my solo...)

Well, it's Friday! Despite the fact that I had about 2 hours sleep last night I'm officially cheered up.. Cheerier than a cheery cheerleader on Prozac

Hmm, I spent last night writing an essay, then tiding my room, then packing half my stuff away to take home this weekend, which I shall spend working. Not happy events! I suppose I shall live though...

Could be a lot worse I suppose I don't think the weather is going to be spectacular this weekend so you may not end up missing much Must admit to having a few chuckles to myself; a workmate is going to Glastonbury and reckoned he wouldn't need wellies

Not a chance! If I'd worked this year maybe I could've raised enough - but probably not. My mum's favourite phrase is "there's a credit crunch on you know!". I'm working all summer though, so maybe I can stay out of their way a little bit.

I got a massive parcel in the post. Inside, amongst other things, there was some music, a lovely little bear and a box of chocolates.

Throwing out 2 years worth of homework then organising all my music on the freed-up shelf and finding the important letter I thought I'd never see again somewhere I'd never have thought to look for it.

My cousin has turned up so I'm going out for food and a few civilised drinks with him and the lads

They were designed to carry eggs across fields without breaking them, so I'm sure my fillings will hold out! Apart from anything else, I don't have any fillings!

I like 2CVs. And Renault 4s.

There's a great deal of charm about old French cars. I have to admit I do rather like France as a country...

Just kidding... I go to France quite a lot, well, Brittany anyway, and the people there are lovely. The place I usually visit is full of people who speak hardly any English so I have to brush up my French

We're taking a year out from writing, though, to develop the first three books for interactive whiteboard and to also produce some online training...scary but exciting, and it'll be nice to have a break from the writing!

Now I've named them as the twins of happiness. And she's the master of happiness. I swear, whenever I talk to either of them, I can never ever ever be in a bad mood (well, usually, one I fight with over silly little things, but we just get on each others nerves- like a love hate kinda thing). And I've known them for ten years, so I don't think I can get sick of them
