Just wondered which pieces everyone likes? this is a very vague musing at the moment, I don't have a set date to take the exam or anything. I've listened to the ones I can find on youtube and I really like the sound of Souvenir de Sarasate for the C piece.

Kreutzer Etude no. 8 is also an alternative on the C list - can't really imagine playing that in an exam, has anyone done it?

I think the Kreutzer study No. 8 is a fantastic choice, if the candidate is brave enough to take it on knowing they've got nobody to help carry them along if they goof halfway through. Treat it as a 'caprice' or show piece and you'll find it much more manageable to play.
From list B, Schubert is really the only one I honestly like, but from list A, either Bach, Handel or Vivaldi would be my choice.
