does anyone know any good sites for revising essay writing for AS theatre studies (AQA)???

Ah yeah, I suppose. But General Studies wastes everyone's time really...

Ooh can I ask a quick question about your marking then please?
If a student has containted irrelevant information, but some relevant, would they lose marks for that or just be given marks for correct info? (I got a bit sidetracked in one of my essays..)

Also, the title I was given for my essay was melody, and I forgot several key points (stress I suppose) but added in several points about the rhythm of the work.
Now, this should technically be in a separate section, which didn't get asked about, but as melodies have rhythms, and I was discussing the rhythms of the melodies, would I get marks for that?

Sorry, this is what I'm always like after an exam.. worrying about whether I've gained enough marks for my grade or not!

I have 3 left. And most people have finished. So that means that either people having fun during the day and being noisy or being drunk at night and keeping me up.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar! music history exam in precisely 75 minutes and i know f-all about whatever it is i'm supposed to know about.

I've got three tomorrow morning and then 3 on wednesday morning

I sat my last exam on Thursday, went ok but I know there were bits I could have played better if I hadn't been quite so nervous but overall quite enjoyed it, think I proved that I've improved and am worthy of a descent mark! Handed in an essay this morning and 1 more to go!

Had one of my seven exams this week this afternoon, Edexcel maths paper two. Thought it was harder than the first paper, but not too bad. Except the last question which completely stumped me... did anyone else do it?

Had 3 Latin exams this afternoon ... I think they went ok, but I can never really tell ...

Just 3 left now. Oh the joys of Ancient Greek ....

I had 2 Latin exams this morning, and feel the same way!

That was my last day of exams though, so I've now offically left school.

I can't believe you get to go to uni before me, and are younger than me!! Where are you going?

Very scary! I'm working over the summer, with a few weekends and things planned. Are you working? What subjects are you doing next year?

I know, it's so weird. That's what I get for having been the youngest in my year. I won't even be old enough to be served in the bars and things (not that I won't be spending every hour being intelligent. ) I'm hopefully going to Aberdeen, all being well. We'll see!

Ooh, cool. Yep i've just got myself a job working in the HSBC with my mum, which should be, *ahem*, fun ...

Next year i'm doing French, Spanish and Latin, which should be good, i hope, unless French and Spanish get really hard

I did the maths one, and I thought the last few pages were horrid. I didn't answer most of them, well I couldn't answer them. Reckon i've failed maths, but never mind .

Yep GCSE And I did/do WJEC English and OCR History as well Snap! History went surprisingly well, I was really really worried about it, but I was pretty confident with most of the questions. English made me laugh - "You are on a bus that stops at some roadworks. Describe the scene." I mean really, could they make it any less exciting And my story was rubbish as usual But I just can't write anything decent in that amount of time!! Unless I have a really amazing idea all of a sudden... which evidently I didn't.

Oh well, over half way through now

I thought english was okay, the section a was a bit tough because i thought they would have been better if they did it for the whole text instead of certain sections. Ha, the describe bit was funny. Our exam was started late because every single school bus had been stuck in a massive traffic jam that morning!!! .
I had huge writers block though so didn't do very well.

History was okay, but i didn't do very well. Some of the questions were just mean haha. And I nearly didn't finish cos I wrote too much.

Well the ones that are finished not - Music, Citizenship and Maths. Still have one or more exams left for Add. Science, English, History, Geography and French Not as stressed as I was over them now though, the important ones for me are over (Maths and Music )

Oh I did that in Geog yesterday, it was all sunny and nice outside and I was all chilled out like yeah, I have loads of time to work on this paper, just read it through slowly and start answering a question slowly... and then at the end of the first section I looked at the clock like and had to write like mad for the next our to try and finish it! Which I didn't quite, because I missed the last case study, but I didn't think I could really do it anyway so that was OK

Nearly over, feeling quite relieved but also dissapointed cos i havn't done as well as I could of!

I hate it when yu think you have loads of time then you look and are like ARGHHHH!! .

hopefully! i had a memory lapse in the one piece and ended up just staring at the examiners. oops.

A lot down, one to go! And as that's only graphics, and as I have already mastered holding a sharpened pencil and then move it skillfully across a page to "add colour" or "render" (colouring in is wrong) I feel quite safe. Oh yeah, and 60% of the marks are for coursework, so I can get a C without even turning up!

Good, you've nearly finished then! When is Graphics? And what are you doing next year?

Graphic is on Thursday, and next year is a nose-to-the-grindstone combination of maths, chemistry, physics and French.

From what others have said, you are brave to be doing French alongside the more scientific stuff. Hope it all works out for you.

A 2.1 is fine - it shows you've been working really hard, and it doesn't count towards your final result anyway. University exams are so difficult; I bet your family are very proud of you.

Hope it spurs you on to do some reading for your course over the summer. I expect you've had a reading list?

Greek this morning was so much better than I expected, but i'm really glad that it's over!

Now just my piano exam left to worry about ....
