The AB have now published the 2007/08 annual review, which includes a list of people awarded diplomas during 2007. Read it at http://www.abrsm.org/resources/annualReview2007.pdf

There are a few names in there that I recognise - including mine <widens doors to fit head through>

Oh, and they even mention Forums too!

Found you! But you're cunningly disguised in the Dip list. wink.gif

My name's in it too, for getting Distinction at Grade 7 theory - I wouldn't have thought of looking if I hadn't looked at this thread. smile.gif

Interesting to see Aled Jones ( DipABRSM, is it really him ?) and Brenda Lucas Ogdon (LRSM, widow of John Ogdon) in the lists.
Congrats to all you others.
I still have hankerings to try another Dip when I retire, even if nearly 50yrs after my last one !

The saddest mention for me is the name of an examiner who died in 2007. He was the examiner for my eldest son's grade 1. He was a wonderful man, a brilliant pianist, and help conduct orchestral courses that I attended when I was 16. Again he was a figure that inspired and I admired greatly. He was also very young when he died, only in his early 50s.
