Thameside Clarinet Choir Playday 15th November 2009.

I've just noticed that the Information Leaflet and Application Forms are finally avallable on the Thameside Clarinet Choir home page. Here
I haven't been to their previous events, but I've heard good comments about the day before, I do hope lots of forum members are able to attend.

Regards, Peter.

These are really good playdays!

Unfortunately, this clashes with the Royal Northern Sax Day, so sadly I won't be there sad.gif

Hope a few forumites are able to make the journey to Kingston to join controller76! smile.gif

Thanks Barry,

It's a shame you cannot attend, still we will meet up at the ELCC playday in January.

Any other Forumites Interested?

Regards, Peter.

Yes, we will. smile.gif I do usually go to the Thameside playdays in April too smile.gif
Appassionata
Hmm.. I may actually come to this rather than the RNCM sax day as I think this is more "do-able" to travel there and back in a day smile.gif

It is very do-able in a day Appassionata, and you'd enjoy it, I'm sure. smile.gif

Norbiton South West Trains is the nearest station, but the walk from there to the venue is a rather nasty uphill job, and the train service isn't great on a Sunday. A far better option would be to go to either Putney Bridge (District line) or Putney (South West Trains from Waterloo), then get an 85 bus, which passes the door. The bus journey isn't a long one. smile.gif

I thought Thameside was in Manchester? unsure.gif

Yep smile.gif

It's called Thameside because they rehearse in Kingston, which is by the side of the Thames smile.gif

I sent my cheque off for this event yesterday.
I do hope you're able to come Appassionata, or indeed anyone from the forum, it would be good to put faces to names.

Regards, Peter.

I feel totally fed up!

I am ill and cannot now go to this event, I was so looking forward to it, but I have the worst kind of flu, man-flu! and a sore throat too.

I had to have friday sick from work and no better today, it feels like I'm swallowing through razor blades.

I hope everyone who does have one of the numerous events on tomorrow and this weekend really has a great time and as Arnie says; "I'll be back".

Regards from my sick bed, Peter.

Thanks Barry, I'm feeling a little better but cough is really getting me down.
I'm upset about missing event too, I hope those that went had a great time.

How was your weekend event?

Regards. Peter.

It was a brilliant weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. I've put a report on both threads (my recital with Celeste, mwl1 and bohemian can be found in Forum Events, the RNCM Saxophone Day in this forum) smile.gif

Thanks again Barry, I've just seen reports and sounded brilliant if not a little hectic.
Look forward to seeing you, and any other forumites, in January.
