Has anyone tried the Patricola instrument? I know a lot more about piano makers than clarinet ones but the Fazioli grand is something to die for!! If their clarinets are as good ........!!!!

Never tried, but reviews have invariably been good.

Have never tried a 'one piece' clarinet (where there is one long joint as opposed to a top and a bottom joint), whether it's this or the Rossi clarinets, I would like to have a go one day...

Well, I've been in Italy for eight years and play in two wind bands. I would LOVE to see an italian clarinet. Everybody plays Buffets, Jupiter, Amati and once, I saw a Selmer.

With oboes, it's the opposite. They all play italian oboes.
