Oh my it was funny! 1.5hrs marching, culminating in us learning to do a rotating cross - like helicopter blades!! Very funny, but we got it with no playing. Looked really impressive but may not sound so good when we try to play as well

Not too much.... it's far too late to change anything now so will just try to go for a fairly relaxed bit of playing.
Got orchestra rehearsal tonight so lots of playing later anyway.

If I see or hear something I like I search IMSLP and if I have no look there I then search "musicroom" to see if they have it and then I add it to an evergrowing wishlist ... Gets reviewed, altered and edited periodically .... oh and sometimes actually bought from too

Not enough hours in the day at the moment for me

I bought a whole load last year and got back to CR to feel completely ridiculous - most of it was way beyond my capacity.

Now I can happily play a lot more than I could then (albeit badly) and some that seemed unattainable might one day be possible. Especially if I have more time on my hands when I lose my job... I shall be very glad indeed that I did accumulate while I still had some cash...

As for me. now time for a bit of "The Perfect Wrong Note" before

Marking daughter's first G5 theory mock test in prep for June....no idea what it's going to be like. Finishes in 40 mins.
Then quartet rehearsal in my lounge and then lunch and ice skating. Fun!!

I would like to play clarinet, flute and piano, have a good look at diploma syllabus and go for a drive and possibly a walk in the sun ....

I will be doing: prepping instruments ready for sale, cleaning corroded wheels with wet and dry paper until shiny again ... and maybe investigating into Porsches problem ... then doing some music stuff!

Yes, it was great - I think it was the most music I have ever sight-read (singing) in one day
When I log off, I am going to write a practice English essay

I should probably rehearse for my upcoming recital... I'll probably end up jumping into our hot tub instead

I am going to pick up my flute and attempt to play it for the first time in 2 weeks.

It's not going to sound good!

Violin practice for me

Not so brilliant......

'Twill get better - it's bound to be a bit scrappy after a fortnight with no practice. I'm beginning to get the hang of not being totally able-footed, so back to lessons this week (my own and my students).

How was the violin practice? Now there's something else I should get back to!

About to start violin practice properly! Have done a couple of warm up exercises, that were in tune need to look at some parts I was given at my last lesson, they're a bit on the tricky side
